You are looking at one brand new top quality Natural Cowhide 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) wide belt blank cut from 8-9 oz. leather. This item 4512-00 has pre-cut buckle slots and pre-attached snaps. This belt blank fits waist up to 44"(1.12 M). All you need to do to finish this belt is trim to correct size, stain or dye, tool or stamp, finish and add a belt buckle. Poor snaps
I would have given 5 stars. The leather is great but the snaps are very cheap. Better use a thin buckle because a roller will just keep unsnapping the snaps. They are not very deep or strong. Next blank I order will be with no snaps so I can apply better quality ones.

Good blank
I have just dyed and finished,or tooled. Just makes a nice belt.

No means of comparison
This was the first belt I made (tooled.) The thickness of the leather seemed adequate. It was smooth, with no scratches or flaws. My only reservation about it was that the plastic snaps didn't give a clear snapping sound when I closed them, so I felt they might be a little wimpy. I haven't given the belt to my grandson yet so I don't know how it will stand up to wear and tear.
