Back to Basics
This book is written for some one who has never had any experience with leather work, but would liker to try it. It does NOT cover tooling, but it is a good tutor for leather work! It will lead you through all the tools and their use needed to produce very nice leather items. It does not give patterns or stamp tooling instructions, it does however cover almost every essential leather working tool and a brief explanation of how to use them correctly. It DOES explain in clear form, styles and methods of lacing, and hand stitching. In short, if you're already a somewhat experienced leather worker, you'll probably possess all the tools and know-how to use them that this well written book provides. It truly IS a beginners book.
