You are looking at a brand new leather sewing awl kit. This item 1216-00 includes one heavy needle, one spool of black unwaxed 12-1/2 yard bobbin, wrench and complete instructions which is are all stored neatly in the awl's hollow handle. This sewing awl sews a lock stitch that looks like it has been machine sewn. Replacement needles 1198-05, 1198-08 and thread in brown and natural are also available in our stecksstore.

Lock stitch awl
I love this thing. It takes some getting used to, but I can get a stitch that looks like it was made by machine without having to spend $2500.
