You are looking at a brand new 100 pack package of nickel plated line 24 steel snaps. This item 1263-12 is a button-type heavy duty snap that is durable enough to last for many years. It maintains a firm grip due to its great socket construction. These snaps have a 5/16" post which works well for leather thickness 8 to 10 ounces. They also come in brass and black. tight snap
I bought these because they roll down nicely when I set them, however they are very difficult to open/close as a snap!

Snaps
The stem on the snaps are too long. Unable to return as i opened all the packages befor i realized the stems were too long, meaning they will most likely work if the fabric is much ticker then in using.

Quality of these snaps 1263-12 100 pk) is great......not as shiny as the picture. More like a matte stainless steel look. Going to buy the 10 pack to see if those are shiny.
