This item 1263-02 is a button-type heavy duty snap that is durable enough to last for many years. It maintains a firm grip due to its great socket construction. These snaps have a 5/8" (1.6 cm) cap and base and a 5/16" (7.9 mm) post which works well for leather thickness 8 to 10 ounces. They also come in brass and black.
