      This stamp works as advertised. However, I recommend wetting the leather prior to stamping to see more detail in the face of the wolf. Even with prepping the leather, it still takes several strong blows with a hammer to get the details to show. I tried using a woodworking chisel mallet, but recommend using a smaller dead blow hammer to really get the image to pop. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. if it didn't require some many hard blows with a hammer, I would give it 5 stars.
